Last week the 30 tonne truck that was loaded with approximately 2,800 chickens couldn't make it's way out of Ebenezer. With all the rain we've had recently, the dirt roads are muddy and somewhat waterlogged. Mrs Thebe(Left) and Mrs Maphosa(Right) are the Ebenezer chefs. These ladies do an incredible job of cooking and feeding the apprentices 3 times a day. Family Groups have replaced Cell groups at Ebenezer. They are still held on a Wednesday evening from 7 - 8pm. Apprentices are put into “families” that comprise of about 11 people and they are led by the staff.
