Cabbages are looking good
Apprentices grading their tomatoes
Potatoes have been planted
Beans doing wellThe apprentices have been working really hard in their fields despite the many challenges they face. Some of their crops are looking excellent like the cabbages and beans. Although we thank God for the late rains, the tomatoes have been affected pretty badly and most have split. The potatoes are a "new" crop for the apprentices. They prepared their fields on time and we are hoping germination will be good. We hope the apprentices will reap the rewards of their efforts.
As we enter our winter season, we are looking at planting winter maize.
